The Karl Rahner Archive in Munich |
|
The Karl Rahner Archive (KRA) is an international research institution of the Jesuit Order. It is charged with securing, maintaining and cataloguing the literary estate Karl Rahner (1904-1984) for future generations of researchers. The entire collection, including supplementary materials, contains approximately 120 linear meters of material. The archive was established in 1985, first at the Jesuit College of Innsbruck, where Karl Rahner last lived and worked, and then at the theological faculty there. Since February 2008, it has been housed in Munich as a separate section of the Archives of the German Province of the Society of Jesus.
